Flyers for 4-H Bug Club, a handout, social media assets, calendars, and tickets
Among developing various hands-on activities, I made flyers, a handout, and gave two presentations for a 4-H bug club (the presentations can be found in the presentations page). I had fun with the flyer design for the club, since I wanted it to appeal to today's youth. I drew and painted the two mantis images for the flyers and then used Photoshop to create the 'glitch' effects.
Next is a template that I created in InDesign for 4-H to use on their social media page to promote each of their clubs, with a sample of the images that they created using it after receiving training from me.
After that, I have images of a calendar template I designed for 4-H to use on their website to track club meetings, as well as hand out to kids and parents. I did the main part of the template in InDesign and Illustrator, but they were most comfortable using MS Publisher, so I imported the template into Publisher and added fields for all of the parts that would need to be edited.
Finally, I have a photo of some tickets that I designed for an event. The major success of this project was simply making the tickets able to be cut-out easily on a paper cutter using guidelines.
