Restaurant Menus
An Italian restaurant was adding a significant amount of new menu items and asked me to redesign their menus for them. The challenge of this project was that the menu was already very crowded with text. I rebranded it and reorganized it completely in order to make the menu look more elegant, modern, and legible. He wanted to showcase the Italian flag colors on the menu front, and didn't want me to spend time designing a logo or anything complicated.
The files are a full-sized menu (1-4), an insert for an acrylic menu holder (5-6), and a to-go menu (7-8)
Later, the same restaurant owner contacted me and asked me for a re-brand to go with a new interior design. The original interior was largely red with checkered tablecloths and very much looked like a diner, but the new interior is expected to be black and gold and to exemplify 'fine dining'. He wanted a new logo that still had Italian flag colors, but that would fit with a black/gold theme and a new menu cover and dessert/drink menus. For this, I kept the menu interior fonts and colors the same, and then used the same primary font for the new logo and redesigns. I also used the interior colors for the new cover and wine/beer menu. The redesigned files being at the logo image. (I'm not including the full-sized menu here in the interest of space.)
