Stinkbug Identification Guide
An identification guide to stinkbug nymphs commonly found in tomato crops
Although there are resources for identifying adult stinkbugs, very few touch on the identification of the nymph stages—which look very different than their adult counterparts. As such, Dr. Frey tasked me with creating an identification guide that we could give to tomato crop growers to help them ascertain a true pest problem from a false alarm.
This guide is entirely my own work. I did the research into the identification characteristics; I determined a way to put that information into a design that would be user-friendly; I found all the photos, removed the backgrounds from them, and obtained permissions for those that needed it; I even took the photos that I couldn't find online by capturing and rearing the appropriate stinkbugs.
